Aerodrome Reporting Officer and Work Safety Officer Training (3 days)
This course is suitable to new Aerodrome Reporting Officers and Work Safety officers. Training covers the following topics, Aviation Regulation, Maintaining situational awareness, Driving on the airside, Airside access and control, how to conduct and Aerodrome Serviceability inspection , including lighting and the obstacle limitation surface, how to write and issue NOTAM’s, Wildlife Hazard Management and facilitating an emergency response. Students will participate in a practical exercises and complete a series of written questions. Training provided by qualified trainer with current Certificate IV in training and assessment TAE40116

Operate an Aeronautical Radio (half day)
This course is suitable to new Aerodrome Reporting Officers and Work Safety officers. Training includes, regulation, characteristics of radio waves, radio frequencies, aviation phraseology, phonetics, and practical radio use. Course includes, proficiency assessment, English language assessment and the CASA Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) application. Training and assessment conducted by CASA approved person. CASA.AROC TA.0054

“New” Wildlife Hazzard Management Training (1day)
This course is designed to meet the requirements set out in Section 17 of the new CASA MOS 139. Training is half day in the classroom focusing on: Legislative Context, Wildlife Risk: Observation, Assessment & Response, Mitigation Methods and Record Keeping. The second half of the day is conducted airside to review the AROs abilities to implement the appropriate skills and techniques following your procedures. Students will participate in a practical exercises and complete a series of written questions.

Training is conducted on-site at your airport, at your convenience.
