Airport Safety and Emergency Management Forum

The AAA Airport Safety and Emergency Management Forum (Forum) is a valuable opportunity for safety and emergency management professionals to hear keynote presentations from industry experts and regulatory bodies, participate in interactive plenary sessions, as well as come together to network and discuss challenges related to operational safety and emergency response and disaster management across the Australian aviation industry.

Attending the Forum is a valuable opportunity to hear from industry experts, as well as to engage with CASA, the Australian Defence Force and Airservices on a broad range of safety and emergency management topics, including:

• Regulatory updates and initiatives,
• Industry collaboration,
• Case studies and lessons learnt,
• Wildlife Hazard Management, and
• Emerging technologies and their impacts on safety operations and emergency management.

As part of the Forum, Cairns Airport will be hosting an Emergency Management Exercise on Thursday 22 June. There is a strictly limited number of attendees (observer program only) that can attend. Register early to avoid disappointment.
