The Australian Airports Association (AAA) Resource & Regional Aerodromes Forum (R&RAF), supported by Fortescue, is a national industry event designed to bring together stakeholders from across Australia’s regional and resource-linked aviation sector.
Building on the proven success of the annual Western Australia based forum, this expanded national edition will be hosted in Perth as part of a strategic transition to a broader scope and greater industry engagement.

About the Forum
The R&RAF recognises the critical role regional and resource-sector aerodromes play in supporting Australia’s economic growth, connectivity, workforce mobility, and emergency response capabilities. With increasing activity in mining, energy, tourism, and regional development, as well as policy and regulatory evolution, the forum provides a timely platform to address shared challenges and emerging opportunities.
The program will feature thought leadership, case studies, operational insights, and policy discussion, with a deliberate focus on practical outcomes and cross-jurisdictional collaboration.
While Perth remains the host city for this transitional year, the content and participation will reflect a truly national perspective, ensuring relevance for aerodromes across all states and territories.
