Regional Airport Management Services (RAMS) is a fast-growing division of Multi Services Solutions Pty Ltd (“MSS-Group”), a privately owned company operating from offices in Australia and New Zealand.

RAMS provides airport management services to regional airport owners. Our team has over 75 years’ experience in airports and we’d love to see solutions-based thinkers join us in delivering airport operations and supervisory functions at regional airports.

About the role 

RAMS is seeking  an experienced Airport Reporting Officers to be part of our team providing Works Safety Officer functions at Perth Airport to meet an 18-month works program.

This role is casual so can fit into a FIFO off-swing, or suit someone recently retired. Competitive hourly rates paid, and having held an ADA at Perth Airport is desirable but not essential.

The Airport Reporting & Works Safety Officer is responsible for undertaking airport reporting and works safety officer duties as prescribed in Part 139 (Aerodromes) Manual of Standards (MOS) at the designated location to ensure compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority Regulations, Aviation Transport Security Regulations, Airport Authority requirements and Occupational Safety and Health Legislation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carry out duties required of an Airport Reporting Officer.
  • Have a sound working knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to a
  • wide range of airport work duties (e.g. Part 139 MOS, Aerodrome Manual,
  • DAMP, SMS, TSP, AVCH, WHMP,ASIC/VIC and WHS).
  • Exercise a high degree of competency in air band radio usage relevant to
  • aerodrome radio communications.
  • Any other duties as prescribed in the designated airports operating procedures (however named) and client contract.

Skills and Experience 

  • 3 to 5 years in an aviation environment
  • basic airside pavements, drainage and lighting system maintenance.
  • have problem solving skill for work in remote locations.

Qualifications

  • Relevant ARO/WSO qualification
  • Hold an Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate
  • Must be able to maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Must maintain a vehicle licence for operating equipment at the Airport
  • Must be based in Western Australia and able to fly from Perth Airport to meet the roster.
