Aviation Operations Manager
Aeria Management Group (AMG) operates both Bankstown Airport and Camden Airport, which are the leading general aviation and recreation airports in New South Wales.
Aeria is a newly branded precinct of over 300 hectares in South West Sydney, and the home to Bankstown Airport. It is evolving to become a thriving and diverse destination, with recent developments including Altitude Premium Logistics Estate and the Marion Street Industrial Estate. These new developments complement the existing wide variety of aviation, emergency services, light industrial, manufacturing, retail and entertainment amenity.
This creates a new opportunity for an Aviation Operations Manager. Reporting to the General Manager Aviation, you will be responsible for leading the daily aviation operations, services and infrastructure; in a safe, compliant, efficient, secure manner and with a customer centric and business focus.
Our airports, like most in the aviation industry, has gone through a lot of change in recent years. We are embracing new technologies and services to manage the business in an environmentally sustainable way. You will be part of driving this change as the operations continue to adopt best practices to achieve first class outcomes.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of all regulatory requirements and other aviation legislation, regulations, standards and guidelines relevant to the airside operations. It is highly desirable that you have practical airport operations experience (ARO or WSO).
Formal qualifications in airport management is desired, however not essential. You must hold a valid NSW drivers licence, hold or be able to obtain an Aviation Radio Operators Certificate and hold or be able to obtain a NSW Firearms License.
