ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly experienced professional to join Council’s Airport team. Reporting to Council’s Airport Manager, this position is responsible for providing a high level of support in managing Council’s airport to facilitate growth, profitability and economic sustainability of this commercial business. The successful candidate will lead a small team to deliver efficient and professional airside and landside activities, and to ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory and safety requirements.

Tertiary qualifications in Airport Management, Aviation or a related field.
Proven extensive professional experience in airport operations and sound understanding of airport operations, regulatory standards and policies, including CASA and DoHA (CISC) regulations and procedures.
Demonstrated experience in the supervision of staff and an understanding of effective team leadership and management.
Demonstrated ability to ensure all maintenance and repairs to airport infrastructure are carried out within budget and to internal and external required standards.
Demonstrated extensive experience in the coordination and management of projects, programs and budgets.
The rewards
An annual salary range of $88,100 to $115,400 (plus 10.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
