What you’ll contribute to?
An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a part- time Terminal Duty Manager to join the team.
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the successful applicant will ensure professional, efficient, and effective operation of the Gold Coast terminal facility. This will be achieved by regular pro-active interaction with stakeholders, key clients, passengers, and other terminal users.

How you will make an impact?
We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and flexible person with experience working within an airport environment or customer/guest services role. You will pride yourself on your work ethic and enjoy making a valuable team contribution.
The Duty Manager’s tasks, include, but aren’t limited to: -
Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all terminal guests.
Positive stakeholder relations including monitoring of flight arrivals to ensure incoming passengers have a recognisable point of contact for assistance.
Attend to major operational problems and needs promptly including customer complaints, enquiries, and requests.
Practice positive problem solving in all aspects of customer service.
Maintaining Flight Information Display System (FIDS) ensuring last minute changes are identified.
Provide direction in emergency events and medical first aid.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a busy airport environment. A first aid certification and experience working in a supervisory/team leader position would be seen as an advantage. You will have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate with a different range of personalities. Fluency in a second language would also be seen as an advantage.
