Sunshine Coast Airport is the gateway to the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Now is a great time to join the team as we begin our exciting multi-million dollar expansion projects and continue our journey following the completion of our runway expansion which has assisted in a strong recovery post COVID-19, and will position this region on the world stage in the near future We are now taking expressions of interest in the field of Aviation Business Development to work across both Sunshine Coast and Coffs Harbour Airports to develop and implement strategies to maximise aviation activity and commercial returns, as well as increase customer and stakeholder satisfaction. We are looking for demonstrated experience in the aviation industry in the areas of: - Market analysis and reporting - Opportunity identification including new route growth - Negotiations - Strategies and business case development - Marketing and promotion execution - Stakeholder and relationship management - Leadership We are looking for someone who has: - Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Marketing, Aviation Marketing,   Commerce, Tourism or Economics. - At least 7 years aviation or tourism industry business experience. - Proven experience in developing new airline business , both domestically and  internationally. - Experience leading a business unit or strategy execution. - Proven experience in analytical business case development. - Proven experience in building and maintaining successful relationships with industry leaders, and creating a collaborative industry network. - Airline Route marketing experience. - Strong understanding of tools and systems to develop aviation business cases. - Database Financial modelling applications.
