AMS is currently seeking persons who are interested in the role of Senior Civil Engineer based at Perth, this position is full-time. Employment will commence ASAP. Excellent remuneration, 9-day fortnight and free parking will be offered to successful applicant. The position will be located at AMS state of the art head office which is located within close proximity to Perth Airport. Essential Criteria: • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience, including design, construction and project management activities • Airport Experience is a necessity • CPEng/RPEQ or ability to obtain will be highly regarded • Ability to interpret, understand and apply design standards and program applications and apply relevant legislation • Knowledge of pavement construction and maintenance, particularly in the Western Australian context, as well as pavement design methodologies, pavement surfacing technologies and material properties and standards • Ability to lead a team • Able to interpret and comprehend construction drawings • Hold or ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) • Hold an Australian driver’s licence • Must be vaccinated in accordance with WA Govt Mandates (Aviation Sector) Key Skills and Attributes: • Excellent communication skills including the ability to write clear and concise technical documents including reports and specifications • Ability to create and maintain relationships with clients and contractors • Ability to write and cost proposals for small and large projects • Ability to prioritise, schedule and manage multiple projects of varying sizes at one time • Strong organisation and time management skills • Ability to obtain English proficiency for Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) Applicants must be willing to undergo full medical and be subject to random testing for drugs and alcohol in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulations.
