Rockhampton Regional Council

Rockhampton Airport (ROK) is a major Regional Australian Airport with flights to Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville and Cairns.

The Airport is located a short 5km from Rockhampton’s CBD and transports approximately 580,000 passengers each year.

RRC is currently is presently undertaking a major upgrade to Rockhampton Airport terminal, as stage 1 of this upgrade project Rockhampton Airport became the first Major Regional airport to install and Commission CTX X-ray equipment and body scanning units . Currently RRC also has projects of the overlay of RWY 04/22 underway and the upgrade / installation of new apron flood lighting on the RPT and GA aprons.

Murweh Shire Council

Charleville Aerodrome Runway 12-30 sealed and lighting – length 1524 metres, width 30 metres Runway 18-36 sealed – length 1067 metre, width 23 metres.

Qantaslink and Rex Airlines operate flights during some week days to Toowoomba and Brisbane.

Maranoa Regional Council

Maranoa Regional Council owns and operates Roma Airport as well as Injune, Surat and Mitchell ALAs
