Deputy Chairman (TAS Director)
Paul is an aviation professional with 40 years global experience across a diverse spectrum of airports, airline models, geographies and cultures, having held numerous management roles within airport/airline organisations in Australia and overseas.
For the past five years, Paul has held the position of General Manager at Launceston Airport, tourism gateway to Tasmania’s north and the Australian Airports Association’s “Major Airport of the Year” for 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Paul is charged with enhancing the airports reputation with all stakeholders, enabling long-term growth and increased market share in Tasmanian air services, through effective partnering with tourism agencies, and others.
Paul, is currently chair of the AAA Tasmanian Division, has a Bachelor of Science degree from Queens University Belfast, and holds board positions on the Launceston Chamber of Commerce, and the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania. Paul is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and recently graduated as an International Airport Professional through the ACI-ICAO AMPAP program.
