This site is administered by the Australian Airports Association Limited (AAA)

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information about your rights and obligations along with limitations and exclusions that apply to use of this website. The AAA reserves the right to make changes to this site and vary these terms and conditions at any time.
The AAA’s standard business hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm not including public holidays in the Australian Capital Territory.
Membership of the AAA
The AAA is a membership based organisation that allows both airport and airport-related businesses to take up airport and corporate memberships respectively. Membership can be applied for via this site either online or downloading the paper form.
New membership is active once an application has been approved by the AAA and full payment has been received. A receipt will be issued upon receipt of payment for a full twelve (12) month membership fee or part thereof as agreed. The membership year follows the financial year.
The AAA agrees to supply membership rights and entitlements to members for the purpose of benefits identified by the AAA. Upon their admission as members of the AAA, the AAA will grant the membership entitlements to members in accordance with the AAA’s rules in relation to membership in consideration of members agreeing to:
- pay the required membership fee and joining fee;
- comply with the AAA’s constitution; and
- all other reasonable directions of the AAA in relation to membership from time to time.
Renewal notices for existing members are generated each May for the following membership year.
An invoice will be sent to members which is payable prior to the membership renewal date.
Change of Owner Details
Members must promptly notify the AAA in writing of changes to the owning entity, legal name, annual passenger movement numbers, annual flight movement numbers, council population numbers, employee numbers, ABN details, registered address or billing address or principal contact details. Members must ensure that the AAA has the most up to date information for the member. Online services for editing contact details are available via the AAA website.
The range of membership services currently available to members are as listed on the AAA website.
The AAA may suspend, vary or withdraw any of these services without notice from time to time.
In addition to membership services, the AAA offers a number of services to its members and the wider public that may incur additional charges, including but not limited to seminars, workshops, conferences and training courses.
Access to Services
Membership entitlements and benefits are extended to the member only and authorised persons associated with the member.
The AAA may determine (in its absolute discretion) to extend membership entitlements and benefits, including the provision of services, to:
- the entity or entities which own or control the member;
- third party service providers to the member;
- employees of the member; and
- any other person or entity associated with the member which the AAA thinks fit, ("the "Assigned Representatives").
Members must ensure that all details of the Assigned Representatives provided to the AAA are accurate and up to date.
AAA accepts no liability for any loss, liability or expense arising out of or in connection with:
- the extension of membership entitlements and the provision of services to Assigned Representatives;
- the denial of services to individuals not designated as Assigned Representatives.
The AAA reserves the right to vary, from time to time, the services available to members.
Any variations made to these terms and conditions may be made by the AAA without express written notice to existing members and will be effective fourteen (14) days after updates to the AAA website.
Cancellation of Membership
Termination or suspension of Membership
If members do not pay their membership fees within thirty (30) days of the date of the membership invoice, the AAA may in its absolute discretion, without giving prior notice to the member:
- terminate the membership; or
- suspend any and all membership services until payment of the membership fee in full is received.
If membership fees are overdue and the AAA is unable to make contact with you within [30 days] of the due date, the AAA may notify you of cancellation of your membership by writing to your last recorded email address.
If the member has obtained any monetary benefit arising out of or in connection with any membership discount(s) whilst the member was in arrears in payment of the membership fee, the AAA may recover any such amount from the member.
Cessation of membership
Members may elect to cease their membership by providing written notice to the AAA. A date of cessation of membership is effective no earlier than the date the written notice is received by AAA and if no date is specified in the notice, no later than six (6) months after the service of the notice.
Effects of cancellation of membership
If the membership is terminated, suspended, ceases or is otherwise cancelled, access to member entitlements and benefits will cease immediately on the effective date of the termination, suspension or cessation of the membership (as applicable).
Terminated members are considered to be new members and will incur a new member joining fee.
Refunds of Membership Fees
If membership is cancelled, terminated, ceases or is otherwise cancelled at any stage during your membership year, Members are not entitled to a refund of any amount of your membership fees for the membership year. Members acknowledge that the joining fee is a once off administration charge and is not refundable.
Changes to membership fees may only be made at the time of annual membership renewal.
No Transfer of Membership
Membership is not transferable to any other entity.
Payment for AAA Services
All the prices listed on the AAA website are in Australian Dollars, and include GST where applicable. Prices may be adjusted at any time by the AAA.
The AAA accepts online payments using via debit/credit card – VISA and MasterCard accepted.
All debit/credit card payments are processed using an online payment gateway (BPOINT), secured by a SSL Certificate issued by Verisign Class 3 Extended Validation SSL SGC CA. The AAA website is also secured with an SSL Certificate provided by GeoTrust Rapid SSL 2. The AAA gives no warranty or representation as to the security of the online payment gateway and accepts no liability for any loss, liability or expense arising out of or in connection with the member's use of the online payment gateway.
AAA members may also request to be invoiced when membership renewals are generated annually. The standard terms for all invoices issued to members are net 30 days. This will ordinarily occur in May each year.
Registration forms are also available for most events should you prefer to submit a paper registration.
Tax invoice/receipts will be generated and issued for all transactions processed via the AAA website.
The AAA will endeavour to issue invoice and receipts within a reasonable timeframe. Should you require a copy email firstname.lastname@example.org
For event registrations users will receive an order confirmation at the time of the booking.
Delivery will occur when the participant attends the event. The date, time and venue for the event are all shown on the order confirmation. Please note it is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that they arrive punctually for the event. If accessing an online event please note that delivery will occur upon receipt of your order confirmation which will provide access details.

Refunds (Excluding Membership Fees and Training Courses)
When cancelling event registrations, the member must provide written notification to the AAA during business hours (8:30am to 5:30pm) and at least two (2) business days before the commencement of the event. This notice must be emailed to email@example.com (or to such other address as notified by the AAA from time to time).Refunds will not be granted for bookings where no written notice has been provided in accordance with this clause.
If initial payment for an event was made via credit card and adequate notice is provided, a refund will be processed onto the original credit card. Where notice is provided within the specified timeframe, a participant, rather than being refunded may request to be transferred to another event date or nominate another person to attend in their place. All such transfers are undertaken at the absolute discretion of the AAA.
AAA may reschedule a event at least two (2) business days before scheduled commencement. Participants who are already scheduled to attend will be given the option of a full refund or an option to participate in subsequent event.
General Terms and Conditions
Website Login Details
Members of the AAA will be provided user login details for the AAA website upon application. During the application process members will be asked to nominate an email address which will be your assigned username and a login password. Members that wish to reset their password can do so by logging into the members centre or clicking on the forgotten password link.
Any verbal advice provided by our advisers/consultants and staff:
- is given in good faith;
- is given on the basis that you have fully and accurately disclosed all relevant facts to us;
- relates only to the facts which you have disclosed to us and to your individual circumstances, and is made on those assumptions;
- may not take into account or consideration your objectives, financial situation or needs; and
- may not answer your enquiry fully, or address all relevant issues;
- may not have been appropriately verified or qualified; and
- is given as a preliminary comment or opinion only.
You should carefully consider the extent to which our verbal advice suits your objectives, financial situation or needs before acting on it as we may not be able to take them fully into account during a brief telephone conversation or initial meeting. No reliance should be placed on any verbal advice provided by the AAA. Members should seek professional advice in relation to the subject of any verbal advice provided by AAA before acting on the AAA's verbal advice.
AAA accepts no liability for any loss, liability or expense arising out of or in connection with the provision and use of advice to designated representatives of any member, including in situations where that advice is used to the detriment of the related member.
Please note that information provided to the AAA is “personal information” and is pursuant to the Privacy Act 1988, the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012 (Cth), and the Australian Privacy Principles. This information is collected for the purposes of processing your application, to provide you with membership services and to keep you informed of upcoming events. The intended recipient of this information will be AAA and its service providers.
Membership Services Disclaimer
In relation to the provision of membership services:
- the AAA excludes all implied conditions and warranties, except those of which the exclusion would contravene any statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void;
- to the fullest extent permitted by law, the AAA will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether foreseeable or not) suffered by any person acting on advice from the AAA, whether the loss or damage arises in connection with the AAA’s negligence, default or lack of care, any misrepresentation or any other cause; and
- the AAA’s liability is limited to providing you with the services again.
Unlawful or Prohibited Use
As a condition of use of the AAA website, you warrant that you will not:
- use the website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices;
- use the website in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the website;
- obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the website;
- use the website in any manner or for any purpose as determined by AAA (in its absolute discretion) as notified to you, published on the AAA website or by any variation to these terms and conditions.
Copyright and Trademark Notices
All contents of the AAA website are copyright of the Australian Airports Association and/or its suppliers.
Nothing contained in these terms and conditions should be construed as a licence or right to use any Trade Mark or other intellectual property without the AAA's written permission or the permission of the third party that may own the Trade Mark or intellectual property. Misuse of any Trade Mark or intellectual property is prohibited. The Department reserves the right to enforce its intellectual property rights through civil proceedings.
For this clause 5.6, "Trade Mark" means names, icons, words, titles, phrases, logos, trade marks or service marks, graphics or designs and other content displayed through the website are the AAA's property or the property of other parties and may be registered or unregistered trade marks.
If any provision of this agreement is held unenforceable or illegal for any reason, the agreement will remain otherwise in full force apart from the provision which will be deemed deleted.
This site and its terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with and the laws in force in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) laws and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that Territory.
