Virtual National Conference 2020: Airports Beyond 2020

This year, due to the current restrictions with COVID-19 and the postponement of the National Conference until November 2021, we are pleased to provide members with the opportunity to engage with industry specialists and network with peers via a Virtual National Conference, to be held each week throughout November.

The Virtual National Conference will provide a valuable opportunity for members to engage with virtual conference partners, and experience first-hand what the future of the aviation industry will look like as we enter the post COVID-19 recovery phase. The theme of the Virtual National Conference is Airports Beyond 2020 and will have a strong focus on recovery and what the future of airports will look like. Each week, we will bring you a different theme and presenter who will bring a fresh outlook on the situation we have found ourselves in. Attendees will receive practical advice and thought leadership and will have the opportunity to ask questions of our expert speakers. The Virtual National Conference will be held online on the following dates:

Wednesday 4 November, 11am to 12pm AEDT

AAA Digital Photo Exhibition – Through your lens, the reality of a global pandemic

We know this year has been hard and it is one we would all like to forget, however we would like to document and record the year that was and how it affected our industry.

In support of the AAA Virtual National Conference being held throughout the month of November, we would encourage you to email photos from your airport or business that capture the reality of a global pandemic. Photos can be the reality of working from home, aeroplanes parked at your airports or aerodromes, empty terminals or you may have positive images that reflect a different experience. The images you provide will be included in a video montage and played during the Virtual National Conference as well as across the AAA social media channels.

Submit your photos by email and include your name, airport/company and photo title (no longer than 10 words).
