Airport Coordinator
This position is a full-time role based at the Moruya Airport. The primary function of the role is to plan, direct, and coordinate the operations, and maintenance of the Airport in a safe and efficient manner to prescribed standards by the provision of labour, expertise, and skills.

Your main duties will include:
- Maintaining the physical condition of the airport in accordance with its certificate and relevant legislation.
- Supervising a team of support staff to ensure coverage of all needs across the airport.
- Ensuring the infrastructure and operation of the airport is consistent with best practices, safety and statutory responsibilities and all relevant legislation.
- Operate within the airport expenditure budget and maximise airport income opportunity.
Salary information
Total remuneration for the role is in the range $81,145.80 to $100,809.69 gross per annum consisting of:
- $72,776.51 to $90,412.28 base salary
- $8,369.29 to $10,397.41 superannuation (at 11.5%)
A fully maintained Council vehicle for to/from home use is available with this position.

About you
We need a great leader who can confidently assess and delegate to achieve safety and success across all areas of airport operations, whilst adhering to legislative requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in previous airport positions with a clear history of varying responsibilities and able to easily move between administration duties and being out on the ground. If you are a strong communicator and keen to take on a range of tasks, this could be a great next challenge! Your application should further showcase the following:
- Knowledge of Aviation Security and Safety requirements and experience in airport operations
- General grounds and facilities maintenance experience, including plant operation.
- Experience managing and staying within budget.
- Experience in staff supervision and mentoring.
- Ability to plan events, strong customer service skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
