Corowa Aerodrome is a small regional aerodrome located 4km west of the Corowa Township along Redlands Road in an area of sparsely treed, cultivated land. The sealed access road from Redlands Road terminates at a locked gate at the apron.
The Aerodrome is used by the Glider Club, charter aircraft, local farmers, ultralite pilots, Air Ambulance and the occasional heavy military and VIP aircraft and the occasional RPT diverted from Albury. Primary runway – east west direction 05/23 has a bitumen pavement, contained by a graded runway strip delineated by white painted gable markers on its extremities.
The runway is lit to enable night landing and take-off operations. The runway lights are pilot activated at a frequency of119.6Mhz; an illuminated wind indicator is located near the apron. Secondary runway – north south direction 14/32 has a bitumen pavement, contained by a graded runway strip delineated on its extremities by white painted gable markers.
