The Australian Airports Association (AAA) is the national voice for Australian Airports that represents the interests of over 250 airports and aerodromes across Australia, from regional landing strips to major international gateway airports.
The AAA also has more than 100 corporate partners who provide goods and services to the airport sector.
‘One Industry Voice’
- Occupying 2700 hectares of land, Brisbane Airport (www.bne.com.au) is Australia’s largest capital city airport and the third largest on passengers numbers, recording more than 20 million passengers travelling through its facilities in 2010/11 (FY).
- Over 420 businesses are located at the Brisbane Airport precinct including retail outlets, childcare and fitness facilities, a supermarket and restaurants.
- For seven years in a row, Brisbane Airport has been ranked by ACCC as the best Australian airport for overall quality of service, standards and facilities.
