Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) / Works Safety Officer (WSO) Course – Full Length

Overview

The course is a comprehensive online course aimed at new AROs and WSOs and for those individuals already in these roles who are looking to maintain and improve their knowledge and skills in the performance of their duties.

The course provides the theoretical knowledge for those who perform the role of Aerodrome Reporting Officer and Works Safety Officer roles (which are often combined) at an Airport or Aerodrome.

The full-length course details the skills and knowledge required to facilitate the safety of aerodrome operations, in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and national operating standards. The course also addresses aviation non-technical skill requirements related to safety management duties of ground operations personnel and contributes to safe and effective performance in complex aviation operational environments.

This course is more detailed than the ARO / WSO refresher course and is designed to be used in conjunction with field / operational based assessments as a substitute to face to face training.

This course includes an assessment component that you must pass to gain a certificate of completion.
