This is a unique opportunity to play an integral role in NQA Group and to become part of a dynamic company responsible for management and operations of Cairns and Mackay Airports. Required for an immediate start, an opportunity exists for an experienced Airside Infrastructure Manager to join our Infrastructure Team to support Cairns and Mackay Airports and related entities. The Airside Infrastructure Manager is responsible for providing specialist project management, contract management and technical advice for infrastructure and facilities airside at Cairns Airport. In this role you will manage works planning and provide technical advice to ensure Airport assets are maintained in accordance with best practice and service level agreements. You will manage delivery of works in accordance with annual budgets, manage contractor performance as per contractual obligations, identify and mitigate operational issues and risks, and ensure work is performed and assets maintained in accordance with procedures and relevant legislation. You will also work closely with internal management and stakeholders to maintain regulatory compliance and facilitate the airport’s operations. This role plays an important part in the Infrastructure team and is instrumental in supporting continuous improvement activities and processes and sustaining our future growth. You must have a proven ability to develop and maintain positive internal and external relationships, including Airport tenants, external consultants, contractors and project managers. Relevant engineering or trade qualifications, and a minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience, preferably in a similar airside infrastructure role. The successful applicant must have strong leadership skills, well developed communication and interpersonal skills, effective time management and delegation skills and be computer literate in Microsoft applications. A demonstrated ability to lead by example, and work in accordance with Cairns Airport's safety, security and environmental standards is essential.
