What you’ll contribute to: 

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. Reporting directly to the General Manager HSE, this role is focused on ensuring effective and efficient progress of QALs projects and developments and has additional reporting requirements into the Property and Infrastructure team. The successful applicant will join a team of dedicated professionals who ensure our four airport operations and projects are compliant with applicable health, safety and environmental legislation and standards.

Skills and experience we are looking for: 

  • Preferred degree in WHS, Environmental or related discipline 
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a Senior HSE role 
  • Experienced in maintaining risk registers that apply to projects and relevant infrastructure 
  • Practiced in undertaking investigations and providing thorough reports 
  • Extensive familiarity with ISO standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Australian Standards 
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with workplace regulators, industry bodies, advisors and other relevant parties.
