What you’ll contribute to; The role of Risk and Compliance Manager reports to the General Counsel and Company Secretary for leading and championing risk management and assurance, as well as regulatory and industry compliance throughout the QAL Group. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who shares the Risk and Compliance team’s commitment to timely and high-quality services. As a self-motivated, reliable practitioner with plenty of initiative, you will be a self-starter who ideally hold a degree in Risk Management or Governance with strong practical experience. Individuals who do not possess a degree but who have appropriate experience are encouraged to apply. Key Deliverables/responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide risk, assurance and compliance advice and support, including reporting to the business, the Executive and the Risk and Audit Committee (RAC) Maintain a strong knowledge of the Risk, Assurance and Compliance Best Practice Principles and other relevant regulatory requirements Lead the development of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Assurance systems throughout the QAL business including regular review and exercise plans are activated within the business units. Implement and oversee risk and compliance registers and insurance policies and documentation within QAL businesses are kept up to date and ensure all other compliance requirements are completed by the due date Ensure each relevant business unit has an up-to-date risk register containing relevant business risks, risk owner controls and mitigating strategies and that they are reviewed regularly Provide input on risk management on projects and actively monitor risks during the life of the entire project.
