Today’s webinar will examine how airports have diversified their businesses in a time of change. This has been particularly important during the last year when the national aviation network was in a state of flux.
In particular, we’ll hear about the way airports have found opportunities in activities that complement the economic strengths of their urban or rural region, historic aviation uses or geographical location of their airport.
One of today’s lessons is the value airports provide to their region’s economic development and liveability, as enablers of services such as police firefighting and aeromedical aviation, flight training, air freight or tourism.
Another insight we’ll hear about is exploring some of the processes which airports can use to identify, prove up and deliver projects that help diversify their businesses in aviation or non-aviation areas.
